I love staring at this photo. It feels like home to me.

As I sat and focused my camera on the flowers to capture a typical photo, my camera focused on my mom behind the flowers instead. I realized then how perfect the picture was, to me at least. I captured my mommy; hard at work as usual, as well as the flowers that she planted, tended to, and picked herself. She has a passion for growing beautiful flowers around our house and after they bloom she picks them and arranges them into vases to place around our house. I can not imagine what our home would be like without mom’s flowers in the Spring and Summer. The flowers emit mom’s care, love, and a smell that is sometimes stinky and other times pleasant. Hehe. Mom’s flowers are beautiful because she loves them. If she loves her flowers this much, imagine the love that she has for us kids!  So grateful and blessed. ♥
