July 31,2012 “At the beach life is different. Time doesn’t go hour to hour but mood to moment. We live by the currents, plan by the tides, and follow the sun.” It’s true. Trading city life for beach life for a weekend was utterly amazing. It’s sort of indescribable. It just feels so peaceful, serene, and right. We followed the sun and lived by the water’s currents.

March 31,2012 Came together for one night to worship and drink coffee together. Friends forever, even though time separates us and molds us into different people. Memories last forever, so shall our connection.

It always does feels better when I’ve shared my struggles with my girls. (:

January 12,2012 Cold as ice, dead silent, grayish blue days. I find them pretty calming. I can write easily on these days; and at times I find it’s the greatest time I get to spend thinking about anything and everything, over a hot cup of coffee or green tea. I find that I can feel God so closely on these days as well. It’s like when the air is cold and grey, everything else in life that seems to hinder me goes numb and I can only feel what I love and want. It’s cool: I get to feel extra warm and comfortable all because it’s cold outside. Or maybe it’s all because God wants for me to remember that I’m not lost. A truly blazing fire, you are, Jesus.
